Owners of warehouse or industrial hangars that were built in the nineties and two thousandths will sooner or later face the problem of leaking roofs and, consequently, with repairs. During the rainy season, each leak can cause damage of 40-50 thousand hryvnias. And if the roof leaks not in one, but in several places, then the damage, accordingly, increases significantly.

Why traditional ways to repair the roof of the hangars do not work?

In the climate conditions of Ukraine, the material covering the arched hangar can be heated in summer to 60-70 °C, and this is a problem. At this temperature, epoxy materials melt and spread. Rubber washers, which strengthen the mounting hardware for corrugated metal sheets, also cannot withstand temperature extremes. As a result, the leak problem returns.

What characteristics should the material for insulation of arched hangars have?

The market dictates clearly defined requirements for waterproofing materials for the repair of arched warehouses, industrial and agricultural structures. These are the requirements:

1. The material should not allow moisture to pass through, should give 100% protection against leakage.
2. To withstand large temperature differences corresponding to our climate zone.
3. It must be resistant to snow and wind loads.
4. Must have a service life of 10-15 years or more.

What is the technology for repairing an arched metal hangar with PVC tent?

PVC serves as a waterproofing layer that does not allow water to pass through. Before installing a PVC cover on the hangar, the old metal sheet is leveled, the curved and torn edges are screwed, all sharp joints are treated so that they do not damage the tent. Only after this the PVC coating is mounted.

The term for the repair work is 7-14 days. And since the old roof is not dismantled, the property stored inside the object remains intact in any weather.
